QTP + Stock Exhaust Idle Problem
QTP + Stock Exhaust Idle Problem
So I installed the QTP downpipe a month or 2 ago. I wanna just say, I LOVE IT. Its the perfect fit for me. Its really roudy when open, and quite as stock when closed. I have run into a bit of a problem however...
I am running the stock catback, and when the cutout is closed, the car idles like crap! The idle is set to 1000rpm to hide the lumpy cams, but when its closed, it idles all the way down to 750-rpms. It almost feels like its going to stall at times.
I have a Defi Oil Pressure gauge, and sometimes it will idle so low, my reading will be around 5psi, and the gauge will beep.
I was thinking that maybe deleting the cat would help this problem. What are your thoughts?
Completely off topic, but when I searched cat delete on google, look what I found lol
