which is better?

evo 9 stock metal bov or greddy type rs bov.
which is better for stock turbo??
(i'm boosting about 23 lbs)

Def the evo ix metal one. It will hold 23lbs fine and you wont have the partial throttle flutter that you would from the greddy.

I dont see this thread lasting long btw...

the metal one is mine from what i see, the type rs will give you the whisle noise if you like that

It's been 3 years since the evo 9 came about. This ? has been asked/answered many times. The stock 9 dv holds up to 26-27 psi. The End.

i use the metal one when driving between home and school which is a 3 hour highway drive but city i rock the type rs its nice but i just had it laying arond i wouldnt buy one and put itt on the stock is fine

u talking abotu compressor surge? Mine does it when I barely start boostin then let off. Not enough boost for bov to vent out

at low rpm around 2900- 3.5k rpm when you release your throttle your bov makes turkey sound. its fine when you spool fast

i had the greddy type rs it was good but i decided that i wanted the 9. with the greddy i had more flutter at low boost then the 9
