I'm a bit fan of the 50 trim. I had one on my SRT-4 before the Evo. I was making 388hp to the wheels with just other bolt ons (intake, exhaust, IC) and no internal engine mods.

For what they are, and for how cheap they can be had...I think they're great. I'd strongly consider a 50 trim on my Evo if I found one at the right price. Not the latest and greatest, but it's tried and true.

Nothing wrong with the 50 trim at all. Quick spooler, decent power, and best of all, inexpensive! Plus, if you have a 50 trim kit you can easily upgrade to a 30R or 35R

if your looking to set a professional goal then you should build your motor head do kelford or m3 cams, AEM and hit a 10.5 atleast. You see that stock turbo has already gone 10's and seeing how a 50trim flows more and is a larger turbo it should be able to go faster or just as fast

I was really wanting to get it over 500 or deep in the 11s without slicks

400+ hp will go 11's all day if you can drive properly and hit a 1.6 without slicks

Agreed. I was able to run an 10.8@125.97mph on the factory turbo. A properly setup 50trim with a good driver should be capable of mid 10's on slicks and high 10's on DR's.

Do you have a complete mod list of what all was done? I'd assume race gas and high 20's boost. That's moving for stock turbo!

Creamo when do you think your gonna make it to the track?
Not sure, I still have some parts I'm going to install. (S2 cams & 6-puck clutch). I was planning on doing a built motor and FP Red, but I might want to see what I can pull out of the 50-trim w/ my new found power.

I run at Great Lakes and Byron. For the 11.5 pass the 60' was pretty bad at 1.8-1.9. Here's my latest thread on the power I'm making now w/ the 50-trim on E85: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/al...9-hp-97tq.html Next time out I'm hoping the be able to add a couple MPH and drop the ET w/ another 70hp/80tq and a little weight taken off the car since the last time to the track.

If you're looking for 50-trim dyno numbers and some track times check out TurboTrix's vendor page here on evom.

They were one of the first shops with a 50-trim kit.

Just search "50+trim" or "trim".
