You may also be able to recoup some money by selling your TC after you swap in the replacement. Only issue is you need the money up front to by the replacement and there's no telling how long it will take to sell your used TC.

I bought an 06 with an 03-04 tc swapped in...pissed me off and now making the dealer buy it back for lying to me! I would just look for a pump from someone parting out a car.

Yes it can be done the proper way. you need three peices from the non-acd transfer case.
the front peice of the inside carrier housing
The front non-acd cover.
The center non-acd housing.
I may be able to find some pics on evom.
I believe that if the lights are one, the front diff acts in open diff mode, but not sure.

So besides the obvious

-03-04 non acd transfer case
-pull pump and lines

Is there anything else needed to do in converting to non ACD evo? Will this throw a CEL? Do you leave the ACD computer plugged in or take that out too? Does the ECU need to be reflashed?

Basically what are the exact steps needed to transfer over to a non ACD system without triggering a CEL?

Really interesting i think about removing it from time to time. its just a waste for what the ACD actually does. more info is def needed on how to exactly do this.
