Spark Tech introduces Pro upgrade for Dynatek cdi's

In keeping with our promise to the Evo community "WE WILL LEAVE NO STONE UNTURNED IN THE IGNITION ARENA". Spark Tech presents another cost effective cdi Option. This is NOT a replacement for our M & W offerings, we have been very happy with their Reliability and Performance.

We have received many emails from customers that already had the dynatek cdi that didn't like the hideous look of the Montero coils. We have now packaged this along with our Pro coil on plug and it is available as a package and is 100% Plug and Play. We will also offer a plug and play harness along with coils/mounting plate for customers with existing dynatek cdi's. All you have to do is install our cop and plug into your dynatek.

The Above images shows the Pro Upgrade for customers that already have the Dynatek CDI.

Dynatek has introduced the ARC-2 for 4 cylinder Automobile applications. This CDI ignition is capable of producing over 50, 000 Volts at the spark plug. It is designed to optimize the ignition of the modified vehicles, providing the strong spark needed to develop peak power for turbocharged, nitrous oxide and high compression applications. Intelligent Spark Profiling in the restrike mode allows for less delay between successive sparks.

Complete kit installed. Polished Plate is available.

Dynatek CDI fits with the Spark Tech CDI bracket.

ARC-2 Technical Specifications as posted on Dynatek's website

Operating Voltage:
8-20 Volts
Operating Current:
7.0A @ 10, 000 RPM
Maximum Operational RPM:
18, 000+ RPM
Ignition Inputs:
2 Rising or Falling Edge
Ignition Outputs:
2 Independent Channels
Coil Primary Energy Max:
189+ mJ

Dynatek has been around for many years and we have used them in the past for motorcycle applications. As you can imagine motorcycle applications present some of the harshest environments as they see lots of vibration and moisture. We are authorized dealers and can handle any Warranty should the need arise.

This is NOT a for sale thread and is solely for the purpose of notifying the community of a cost effective alternative in these trying times in our Economy.

Thanks for bringing another great alternative for CDI ignitions to the Evo community.

The Dynatek CDI specifications sheet shows more spark energy than the M&W. Is that correct?

Lower price + American made looks like an interesting package!

Let's be clear M&W's products are in a class of their own. 2 of the Highest Horsepower Evo's in the World run a Spark Tech system powered by the M&W cdi. I have yet to find a M&W cdi that didn't provide enough spark energy.

Our main products are powered by M&W cdi's and was chosen because of their Performance, Reliability and Reputation. This option for dynatek products is exactly that...an Option.

Sounds good man! I know i'll be needing one of the COPs you offer soon enough. I've dealt with the Dynatek CDIs for several years and have never had any issues. Glad you brought that aboard!
