Everyone will tell you something different. My opinion is stock or IKH's... I've tried them all.... Even the NGK RACE plugs at $40 a piece LOL....

I have always heard great things about NGK and i have been running the NGK 7s in my evo on 100oct for 3 years now with no issues at all. as far as for e85 i think it is the gap that is really different from other fuel...

I have an FP Red on E85 @ 30psi and I have been experiencing some real bad fluttering/hesitation issues at low-throttle and after shifting. I replaced my NGK's and now I have horrible hesitation under acceleration that I never had before... Could it be the gapping or something else? The car runs rediculously rich under part/low throttle...

Anyone have a recommendation for what I should gap these plugs at for my high HP setup? Buschur double pumper, 1200CC injectors, 02 dump, basic boltons, stock ECU.

Thanks

the reason why people re-gap (reduce) the plugs after switching to e85 is because of the higher boost they run after the tune. You can re-gap your plugs if they're still in good working condition.

sounds like most people have the gap set to 0.024 for your boost level.

I'd like to know too, I'm in his boat. I don't think we can gap any sparkplugs since ix's use iridium ones

I see a lot of VIII replying to the thread. I think the OP is asking about recommendations for the IX that's different from the popular copper NGK's.

Its been said, either stick with stock, since you have a budget, get the denso Ikh22s. So either NGK's or Denso's. Make sure they are iridium.
