Is my transmission currently on life support?

Here's a little background information to help you answer my question.
-less then 20,000 miles on the car
-around 300whp on a mustang dyno
-current transmission upgrades: Exedy Stage II with Fidanza flywheel, AMS underhood bushings, AMS base bushings, SS upper and lower clutch lines, and Redline Transmission fluid.

Recently I have experience a slight hiccup during spirited driving in fifth gear. When driving as smooth as possible and letting the revs slightly drop before engaging from fourth to fifth there is no sign of an issue. When the car is parked there is no sign of any issue when putting the clutch down and going through the gears. The until time I'm concerned, is when driving aggressively and going through the gears at speed there is a slight hesitation when going from fourth to fifth gear and a somewhat audible noise.

I know its hard to diagnose this problem without actually being in the car, but I'm concerned it could be a damaged gear. I have only had several missed shifts where some grinding was present but immediately put down the clutch pedal and stop engagement to prevent further grinding. I don't know if this is a problem with the clutch, time for new transmission fluid, or ( god forbid) a damaged gear. I really have a hard time believing that a couple missed shifts could cause in actually gear to loose some teeth especially with current miles and power level, hopefully you agree. If it is a damage gear is it possible to salvage the tranny by using caution when going into 5th until I have the funds for a rebuild?

Thanks

i would personally begin by doing a fluid change check your magnet if your that concerned but these transmissions take a ton of abuse. <2003 with 111k miles of abuse. At the same time try to do a clutch adjustment thats what i sounds like to me..... good luck.
