I can't depress slave cylinder with hand. Bad slave cylinder?

So I have been having shifting issues for many many months. Basically I was getting locked out of gears at low/mid rpm, if I could get into a gear it wasn't smooth and the slower I shifted the higher chance I would get locked out.

Instead of haphazardly adjusting my clutch (I kept increasing the engagement point because that's what people kept doing), I decided to use Jack's Transmission method:

So I go under the car with my current engagement point (very high) and I was not able to depress the slave cylinder with my finger. This is what my slave cylinder looks like:

There wasn't any fluid under the boot.

Following the logic of the video, I started decreasing my engagement point (turning counter-clockwise) and trying to depress the slave cylinder. I'm now at the point where the engagement point is very very low, yet I still cannot depress the slave cylinder with my finger.. Is my slave cylinder shot? Do I possibly need to grease it up?

This is how low the engagement is:

I actually really like the low engagement point. Driving is so much better, but is it possible that a low engagement point could be damaging even if there is no grinding?

Maybe I need to go even lower...?

I'm admittedly clueless when it comes to automotive tech, but does nothing I wrote make any sense?

Here is a video of my slave cylinder....

It's squeaking and it doesn't look like it depresses. It only moves outward.

Are you pushing on the fork? The fork cannot move because it is connected to the clutch pressure plate. You have to push only on the rod.

Oh that's good to know... Should I be able to simply pull the fork away from the rod, and then be able to depress it?

You can definitely push on the fork as there's travel between the wave spring clip and the pressure plate. You won't be able to pull the fork away from the slave as that direction has the pressure plate springs pushing against it.
