Anyone tried HTA86 with TS?

TedB and a few other are using T4 1.06 TS with great success!

TedB is using a HTA82 but i would expect about the same results on the 86......


Search a little.. there is lots of info there!

the problem is that the 86 compressor will flow much more than the turbine side can handle, so 1.06 a/r is too small. If you wanted to run the hta86 you will need a huge a/r turbine housing for the 35R wheel... good luck finding it (ive never seen any)

I have heard Michael from ETS has something of that sort and when looking at their website its an option for the TS... can ETS tell me more about that kit as i am interested in one....

I've got a Full Race T4 TS manifold, downpipe/midpipe combination and a 3586HTA sporting a 1.00 A/R T4 Twin Scroll housing that's going on soon. The hot parts are going for thermal coating first. The car has a built motor, and a Magnus cast manifold is on the shelf which we'll be testing as the replacement for the Magnus sheet metal manifold that's been on the car. It will be running E85.

Should be done in a month or so, in time for real spring in Colorado.
