Head question

I'm going to pull my head pretty soon to install cosworth head studs and gasket. My question is @ 84k miles what are the odds that I will need my head milled? I have helped take a few evo heads off already and I have noticed that the evo head does not allow for much if any milling unlike the 2nd gen heads.

Unless your head was warped by headgasket failure I wouldn't worry about milling your head, but to be on the safe side I would take the head to a good shop and see what they say about your head.

having it milled?..............probably not
like wtevo8 said above the odds of needing it milled with out any kind of failure having occurred are low, but definitely definitely take it to a cylinder head shop and have it cleaned up and checked out

then you would probably be fine with just having them clean it up, either way since it is off the car it is always nice to have it checked before going back on. and maybe doing some porting
