Leaking front axle seal someone help!

ok my front axle seal is leaking slowly and im taking a road trip of 700 miles one way. Do you think it could fall out the axle or will i be ok to get if fixed when I get home. Let me know what you think!

You "should" be fine.. but I would personally get it fixed.. I would hate to be stranded or really mess something up worse than it currently is.. just my opinion!

i dont have any pics now but its just leaking where the boot is i took it to a shop and they said the axle seal was leaking! I just dont know if it will get worse or what kinda damage it will do!

I had the same problem. Its a VERY easy do-it-yourself fix. Also the new seal is like $3.50. Part #MD758763 for the driver-side and idk the part # for the pass side. Anyway, lmk if you need some tips for installing a new one.

From: somewhere testing various tires, brakes, and suspensions.
Mitsu also makes a boot kit that replaces the rubber boot with a new one. Goes for $40ish. I would replace it before it causes a $500+ problem (new axle).
