axle seals
Use a seal puller, it's not that hard a job. Just make sure you don't seat the new seal all the way in or it will more than likely leak. There's a little lip a couple mm down from the top of the seal, pop it in till that is flush.
I had two of those leak (and I did push it in the correct amount where that little mark is) until on the 3rd one I brushed a little gasket maker into the hollow inside part of the seal. That one has never leaked once since installing it. As far as getting the old one out you should be able to pry it out with a long flat head screw driver. Just rest the end of the driver against the inside part of the seal and pop it out. Should be really easy.
make sure you are given the correct seals. The local Mitsu dealership kept given me the wrong one every time. The one for the dri and pass side are different iirc. The one they kept giving me was not anywhere close to either of those two.
