you need to pressurize your entire intake system from your turbo onward most people build their own basicly you need a cap to cover the turbo with a nipple on it such as youd find on a bike tire most use pvc pipe and use typical intercooler connector silicone hose to clamp it to the turbo inlet then you pressurize the system with a air comp. for those tough to find leaks use soapy water and spray it on your piping most aim to hit just over their peak boost i.e 22 psi having a buddy help you when doing this is a good idea its easier,,, and you should make it a regular part of maintainence every oil change or so

there was a google search for boost tester if your lazy im sure someone sells them if you decide to build your own id suggest putting the filler valve on a 1-2ft piece of tubing as well as the guage so you dont have to peer next to your turbo inlet to see everything ,,, also when you test it all cars will slowly leak some of the pressure if you hit 20 psi and it stays there your doing great if you hit it and it drops immediatly you have some work to do
And yes it could very possibly be a boost leak like i said above you should be testing this regularly as they seem to develop overnight and can cause major issues
