6500 seems high...i would lower it to 5500-5800 rpm...mine is set to 5800 and is good for me...if you set it low and you bog out on the launch just raise it until theres no more bogging...

6000rpm is a good 2 step setup for the stock turbo and on a bigger turbo most people will go higher depending on how there setup reacts to a certain rpm launch, for example I have a PT61mm right now and the 2 step has been raised to 6500rpm because of the lag involved with this type of sized turbo.

on a stock turbo i think 6000 is a bit high... you should test it at around 5700-5800 and then go higher... In most cases the stock 5500 limiter bogs the car at the strip, but around 5800 can generate nice results...

on my 3065 turbo it depends on how the track is prepared... at around 5800 i will either bog or spin like on ice... I guess i am somewhere between 5800-6000 depending on track conditions...
