stroker sounds like a diesel care to diagnose

i bought some jam no tick lifters which actually made the ticking louder, but besides that i find the motor quite loud. i'm not sure if it's the beginning of a spun bearing or just loud valve train from the bf272. i'd appreciate any "expert" opinions on how to get rid of the ticking and if there is something more serious wrong with the motor. btw the lifters came bled out from jam and installed that way and allowed to fill with oil by repeated static and hold revs at 3Krpm, but i'd be willing to try bleeding and filling with diesel as the manual says if it would help. thanks
