Works will send the short shifter to a Northeast certifed shop.. and you can have it installed by them.

They will do it. They are located on the Island.

Works sells one. buy it then install it youself.

the 6 speed is set up differently than the 5 speed. 5 speed is more popular than the 5...especially for racing

You just have to know where to look.
19% reduction in throw.

Works doesn`t do anything to the stock shifter on the 6spd conversion they mod the linkage. The end result is a 35% reduction in the throw which is a huge improvement over stock. It shortens the throw almost 2 inches overall. I think it was worth every penny spent it`s made driving my car a much more pleasant experience.

^^^ I had the same thing installed, and thought it was the bigest waste of money.

It was no where near as short as i expected. But im also coming from my 240 that only needs a flick of the wrist.
