I went to shearers website the seem real good, but for that price of that manifold i might as well go with a kitthat already comes with one.

Wouldn't do it, stick with a 9 DV or APS

He's saying that the HKS SSQV does not work well on an EVO in recirc mode or not.

As for the turbo kits I wouldn't buy either. I I had to pick one it be the STiKiller piece. Check out ETS's Super Value kits seen here. http://www.extremeturbosystems.com/M...duct_info.html Right in your same price range with way more options, and EVO proven results

Unless you go with a Buschur/AMS 35r stle turbo (which is going to be around $4500 new, I have a used one for $4k), your best bet is to stick with the Red. As for the Manifold, either send your stocker to Buschur to be ported and coated (around $140 IIRC) or get a shearer which I think is like $1k for a tubular. The red is a gread turbo and Shearers manifolds are awesome. Its what all the Buschur kits use along with others! Many of us are making 8/9 second passes on the Buschur kit all day long. You will get what you pay for in the turbo department!

As for the blow off valve, either use the IX MR valve, or go to a standalone and switch to a speed density setup with a Tial.

blownevo. I had the very first ( or close to it ) SBR ( HAFE) turbo kit installed in the us. The stuff looks great no doubt. But the fitment is shat. I had to have my recirc tube redone at a local shop to fit correctly. Even after that the stress on v-bands was too much and my wg kept coming loose. I then decided to scrap the recirc and go opend dump. Had other fitment issues also. Getting to the bots on that mani is the biggest pain in the azz ever. As far as power, im on the fence as to how it performed. I had the the 35r turbo.
I dyno tuned it on a shatty hyrodyno/ dynomatics ( had to bolt my wheels to the dyno hubs ) or what ever it was. On 28psi and 110 oct i put down 444whp. The car did pull very hard. I will say that. If you search you can find my posts on the intall and dyno runs. Im 50/50 on this kit. PM for more details on why im 50/50 . The other kit? i have no imput. ive never seen it in person before. good luck with what you choose. BTW, ets has kits for 2400.00 complete.

i guess you think that aps turbo kits don't make power either?? Search my friend many kits make power, even non *brand* name kits.

They make good kits and have plenty of options, and they are affordable!
