2.3L Stroker Owners Unite! - Dyno Sheet & Mod Lists
Ok, I spent some time searching the forums, but couldn't find anything like this so here is my idea. I hope its not a repost!
This thread is exclusively for owners of 2.3L builds.
The idea here is to give each other a general idea of what kind of output/spool/power/torque characteristics each of many variations of turbo and internals can provide.
Please post the following in your post:
1) A pic of your latest dyno run
Then list all the major mods that contributed to the creating the output shown in the dyno chart.
2) turbo and all related specification - as much detail as possible here is key
3) boost
4) fuel
5) methanol/water/alcohol inj y/n
6) cams
7) built head/valvetrain? is so what
8) built internals? if so what
9) engine management?
10) fuel system?
11) intake system?
12) exhaust?
13) who tuned it?
-anything else I may have left out
explain what the purpose of your build is. Track? Street? Dedicated Drag? how well does it fulfill that purpose?
-Give a small explanation of your personal experience and opinions about your setup. How does it behave well on the street? How is it during startup? fuel economy? Is it smooth and usable for daily driving or is it a violent barely drivable monstrosity that sets off air raid sirens with its 2-step and sucks dogs and small children into an unfiltered compressor that's hanging out of the bumper?
-what are the pros/cons? (be honest...we all think our own car pwns teh werldz but please keep this thread as factual as possible so that it will be helpful to all who read it)
