Having a problem with lower IC pipe for Buschur Race FMIC

I have the Buschur Race FMIC along with the lower pipes needed to install it.

The problem I am running into is that the part of the lower pipe that connects to the turbo (2 bolt flange) doesn't line up because it hits the waste gate actuator. Has anyone had this problem? I unbolted the brace that the waste gate actuator is on to move it and it still doesn't fit. It also seems as though if the pipe lined up and bolted up it looks to have a problem fitting to the rest of the lower pipe as well. Maybe I'm doing something completely wrong but I've had 3 previous evo's and never had a problem with this until now.

If anyone can give me a solution of some sort that would be great. My car needs to be put back together by tomorrow.

I didnt have that problem, just that I had to use "the right stuff" to make it seal. Can the actuator be moved at all?

The pipe should mount behind the bumper along side of the intercooler to the left. From there with the couplers and pipes you put the together making sure the pipes are at the right angles and it should go right up to the inlet pipe, no problem at all.

My main concern is that the 2 bolt flange won't line up to the turbo because it is hitting the WGA. I've tried unbolting it and it still doesn't line up. I'm sure once it gets bolted on the rest of the piping will just line up no problem, I just said it LOOKS like it doesn't line up with the other half of the lower pipe.

It's just the pipe can't reach to the 2 bolt flange for me even to put the bolts in. It just hits the WGA.

I'll have to snap one tomorrow when I'm under there, but a picture won't do anything. Picture a stock evo trying to put a lower IC pipe on where the turbo 2 bolt flange is and in doing so the WGA is in the way. lol

The car has never been modded before, nothing has ever been taken off.

just take the wastegate actuator off. and put it back on after the pipe is on. maybe you have to bend the pipe alittle.

It sounds to me like you got the wrong outlet pipe. I'm guessing you have an EVO8 that you've installed an EVO9 turbo on and that wasn't relayed when the pipes were ordered, did I guess right?

The EVO8 outlet pipe will not fit on an EVO9 turbo.

If that's what happened and you haven't beat the outlet pipe up too bad, we'll take it back and swap it out.

Just call us Monday.

The outlet pipe is fine, it's not beat at all. Maybe its for a 9 turbo, I have a 8 turbo on the car, it was never touched. Every performance part on my car is from you guys. I recently bought the V-band exhaust from you guys a few months back if you remember.

I'm assuming there's nothing I can, so I will just call on monday. Hopefully I can have that part overnighted.

Thanks again Dave.

If you have an EVO8 turbo on the car then the EVO8 or EVO9 pipe would fit on it, atleast I am fairly confident of that...........now I am a lost as to why you are having a problem. Is it the stock EVO8 turbo with the stock actuator?

Has the turbo ever been off the car where it could have been dropped on the actuator to bend it? You can bend the actual actuator body if you need to.

I feel as though the stock outlet pipe has more of a bend where the WGA is then yours and that's why it's hitting.

Here's a pic, maybe you can tell what I'm talking about.
