ok got some pictures of the problem here. we managed to bend the actuator out of the way a little bit to clear room for the pipe, but now another issue has presented itself...

the pipe clears the radiator support but obviously the silicone reducer does not. as you can see we can't possibly mate up the 180 pipe from the intercooler to this one.

very obviously the piping does not line up either. the piece is bolted up perfectly flush to the discharge on the turbo... what now???

WTF!? Something is drastically wrong, obviously.

Very sorry, not sure what the hell happened. Can you please call the shop tomorrow and arrange to send that back in to us so I can check it? Something is way off and as many of those as we build, with them welded in a fixture, there's know way it can off by that much.

We will take care of it, but I need that back to see what happened.

Sorry, just call the shop for an RA# 440-839-1900.

Thank you.

I had the EXACT same problem with my Buschur Deluxe FMIC and their lower pipe. I was told they didn't know what to tell me and it must be something I was doing wrong. Glad to see it wasn't me (sorry for you of course) . Mine didn't seem as bad as your alignment. I was able to cut mine, turn the outlet end piece some counter clockwise and add about 2.5" more piping on it. Good luck, I am sure they will take care of it for you .

Just for clarification for those of you reading the thread. After talking to i8yoursti, the parts he is having problems with did not come from our shop. He bought them from another shop as our parts. Looking at the pictures I was confused how it could be that far off, now the story unfolds. The parts are on their way to us and it will be very interesting to see what he was actually sold. Are they are parts? I don't know. If they are obviously they are not for the right application. I didn't think we could screw up that bad........looks like I was right.

We'll get him fixed up though.

Buschur took care of the problem as I knew they would.

Just to clarify this thread I made. I was not bashing or saying anything bad about Buschur, I've spent a lot of money on buschur parts, it's the only power parts I'll put in my car... I just made the thread asking if I was doing anything wrong because it wasn't lining up.

Anyway, the outlet pipe I was sold was for a evo 9 and I have an evo 8. They are sending me the right part and I should be putting it in over the weekend.

Thanks again Nick and Dave.
