i have an 03 evo. well 2 days ago i was going to get on the interstate and when i hit about 17psi it started spuddering. well i put new plugs in it yesterday took it down the road and ran it hard and it ran fine. so today i drove it about 25 miles then when i got on it a little to change lanes it started doing it again. its like my plugs keep fouling out. please help

 

are you running any ignition amps? ex. the hks twin power. ive noticed that they cause alot more heat and ive even cracked my plugs.

 

are you using iridiums? if so go with some coppers br8es

 

what are your plugs gapped to if they arent iridiums?

any CELs? mine will sometimes throw a 0128 or 0300 and then start "spuddering" on the freeway at 60+

 

iam running stock ignition. i have the bpr7es in there. i havent ever had this prob before and the cams and stuff have been in for a few months. it not throwing a cell. i have been gapping them to .25

 

this mite be a fluke but i got gas wed and this started happining thurs. could bad gas fowl spark plus fast?

 

Do you get a CEL light when you turn the ignition on? Maybe the bulb is burnt out.

could very well be something in the gas. also ive seen fuel pumps go bad and do something like this too.

 

today i took it out and it acted fine when i would roll into it slow it didnt do it like it has been. this time it didnt do it untill my rpms got up around 4k or so. it didnt do it till i put this gas in so i hope its the prob

 

any other suggestions
