Backfire issue returns...

Well, the backfire / bucking under boost is back. If you read my prior thread (https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...threadid=40376) you'll see that I believed I had remidied the problem by reducing the ingition advance I was running on the E-Manage.

EDITED to add: My EGT's peak no higher than 780C

Below is a chart of a short run where I experienced another backfire under boost (about 1.3 bar). As you can see by the spiking blue lines, my airflow readings fluctuate heavily. Is this normal? You can see the backfire where the airflow readings go down and the RPM quickly rises then falls (red line).

Closer up

I'm still running the stock BOV and air filter / box, though my AEM unit comes in tomorrow. If you have any advice, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Make sure the plug that connects to the mas sensor is nice and tight. I forgot to connect mine once and was misfiring and hitting fuel cut big time.

Just checked, it wasn't loose. Thanks for giving me something to check though

Plugs are tightened down to 18 lbs and gapped correctly? Check Plug wires for damage.
