mY nEW bOOST leak Tester. (pics)
There is no real "HOW TO" do a boost leak test. Shops don't tell you there setup or technique. Hell, I don't even know if mine is correct. Here are a couple pics of what mine looks like. Tools used..etc
One thing to add is that disconnecting the mbc or plugging the pressure side of the mbc should be done due to the mbc leaking/at it's preset boost level. I don't because I'm lazy, and it's hell to connect it back
Tools Needed:
- Aircompressor w/ hose
- Pressure tester(search for the components) w/ tbolt clamps
- Tire pressure gauge
- 3 plugs/bolts/rubber nipples(for valve cover intake manifold side, air intake side, and mbc
