Question Help: Spark plug in 2nd Cylinder from driver side black...?

All of the rest looked fine, but for some reason the tip on this plug was black. Occasionally it would stutter a bit, and I guess it was from this cylinder missing. I'm thinking it was either gapped too large, the plug wire is going bad, or the plug itself was bad. Anyone have a better idea or am I close?

Thanks

They all look similar to the "normal" plug, but the one that bothered me has some carbon built up on the end of the side electrode.

New plugs have been in for prob 250 miles. I'm going to take a look after ~1000 miles and see if that one is doing alright. There is no noticeable stuttering or hesitation so hopefully it was just a random thing.

Thanks guys
