Ok I was driving down the highway last night and I was cruising at 55mph in 5th and the car just started sputtering really bad. It sounds like a subaru. I was low on gas so I filled it it with a fresh tank and its still doing it. When I got home I checked the plugs and #4 seems to be covered in fuel and the rest look fine. According to my wideband its running very lean under cruising conditions. Any ideas? im thinking maybe a bad injector.

stock ecu
gm maf and translator
pte 1000cc injectors.

 

Could it be your fuel filter and are you sure it's fuel that is on your injector or oil?

 

Im almost positive its fuel, its clear and smells like fuel. But a little update, the idle will stay at 14.7 for a few sec and it fluctuates to lean. But even when its reading 14.7 it still sputters. I was planning on checking my fuel filter later on tonight.

 

There is no inline fuel filter on the evo, just that little white sack on the fuel pump.

 

any CEL thrown?
