I wasn't really interested in one until I saw the price come down. I was thinking of getting one from here http://vr-speed.com/store/quaife-hel...on-p-1871.html. It's only 898 with free shipping, i remember when they were a lot more expensive. Should definitely help out at hte track this spring.

As for the front diff.... I really doubt the Quaife will be much of an upgrade over the OEM LSD but it would be a huge improvement over the 03-04 non-rs open diff. That being said OEM units are selling for half that price.

03-04 have an open front diff. If you are on it hard out of a really tight autocross style corner the inside front will spin a little.

Also it helps to prevent broken spider gears from finding their way into your transfer case.
