Oil pressure switch - the knock sensor is under (behind) the intake manifold stay.

The above pix is the knock sensor! I think lancershop sells them for about $89.

If its easy to replace (I'm assuming its hard to get too), I would spend the $89 to replace it then log your runs see if it still knocks. Atleast you know its not the sensor and something else.

I'm also wondering if the oil pressure sending unit might have caused false information to the ECU causing the irregular knocks.....another thought is do what the other guy did, fix that sensor and log couple of runs also before going with the knock sensor replacement...just my .2 cents.

Did you log any runs? if you don't like using Mitsu logger, I have Evo scan. I'll be here until Thurs if you need it.
