HKS Twin PLate Clutch

Anyone have any experience with this clutch? I searched and no one has posted about this clutch since 2004.

Basically, I have a chance to buy a cheap one and I was wondering if it is a reliable clutch. I was planning on running a quartermaster. Thanks.

I was going to get one as I know some people were having the TOB clip pop off of the exedy twin plate so they said the HKS was a great alternative. I ended up going a totally different route, but heard good things about the HKS...besides the big price tag. IF you could get a good deal on one then I would go for it...IMO

Have you heard of the clip popping off on the HKS? That was why I was looking at Quartermaster, because I don't want to risk that.

I have never heard anything about the twins but occasionally a couple of people talked about the single.

Al at dynoflash said the HKS is pretty much problem free, but the exedy problem seems to be sporadic..some people have had the problem and some have never
