Muffler help

. My question to use guys is what is a silent or quiet muffler i can purchase to put on my car?

go with an HKS one, the bigest thing is to get a resonated test pipe, megan racing sells one for like 75 bucks i think

I was told by my mechanic to get the greddy ti-c muffler but its still a little to loud for me.

Yeah... greddy makes a loud muffler. Like the guy above said, I'd try a resonated test pipe, or a high flow cat first. If that doesn't work, then look into putting a different muffler on. The test pipe/HFC will probably have very little effect on the flow characteristics of your current exhaust.

I just installed a cobb catback and it is nice and quiet when you are just cruising. Also it doesn't hang down, so it's very discrete.

i have a high flow cat currently on the car that was my first attempt to quieting the car down. It made a small diffrence but its still loud. What i noticed is my muffler is very small. i was thinkin if i changed to a cobb or hks muffler it would help change the sound and even quiet it down hopefully.

ya I changed from a hfc to a straight pipe and it dosent really make the car that much louder so u should invest your time on searching for a diffrent cat-back system, I have the greddy ti-c and its not to loud at idle but very loud at wot, but then again im not camed so dont know how it would sound at idle if I were u
