FP Red and 880cc injector install

Got some pics of the install and the rather gloomy weather we had. Hope you enjoy!

Start: No rain in sight but to be safe we did this under my grandparents house.... in the sand...

Old setup with the stock turbo

Manifold comes off...

Manifold goes back on...

Tornado warning with lots of rain. Had to stop progress for about an hour until it stopped.

Waiting for the rain to stop...

New goodies going in.

Almost done

Installed and ready to go grocery shopping

And of course the injectors. Went kinda fast so didn't have time for pics.

Other than searching for a blown fuse and accidentally locking the keys in the car and waiting for AAA to come open it up, it went pretty smooth. Can't wait to finally see what she can do tomorrow! Next week stay tuned for the headstuds! haha

Talk about dedication. Working on an EVO as a hurricane is approaching. Oh the things we do for our cars! I like the ETS set up with the Forge RS BOV. What intake are you running?

Did you hear about FP recommending an upgraded oil feed line? If not I'd run the turbo at wastegate boost until one was put on.

The intake is a $40 piece from ebay

Definitely man! I want to wait until the headstuds go in before making a few passes though. What list of goodies did you get?

No I didn't hear that. I have some ss lines around and I'm sure I can make something up to where it will work. You also have to have a restrictor as well right?

No its not needed for a journal bearing turbo like the red restrictors are needed for BB turbos like the 35r. There is a thread with emails from FP about it and I even contacted via email myself to get the same result.

The line I am running right now is a 4AN line with the appropriate bango fittings. Its can be ordered at FP's website but I guess you could make your own too .

Road spike,
what is the thread diameter and pitch on the banjo fittings? 12x1.5? lmk I'm more than cable of making my own line -4 is kinda big! I would think that -3 would be more than ample.
