2.3L on stock ecu?

Is it okay to run a 2.3 on the stock ecu?

why wouldnt it be. others have made good power with the stock ecu and 2.3l also

The knock tables will need to be adjusted (using det cans) to correctly tune for the added engine noise made by a 2.3l

+1 Yes when I switched to the 2.3 I actually noticed less knock. Now of course I can only speak for my build I am not sure how other 2.3 are constructed but mine was done by BR so I know theirs for a fact I had no issues with.

I was getting about 1-2 counts of knock past 6800 once I put the stroker in I saw 0 counts of knock and timing advanced wonderfully.

mine ran fine and the logs were nice. You push the load limit at low RPM. There's no knock but you should check the ECU Flash section for adding load columns up high.
