Is this normal?

I just got a sheps rebuild 5 speed installed into my evo mr and it makes a noticeable whining noise when going into first gear. I just got my car back today and i want to make sure this there is something wrong. It never made this noise before the tranny swap. My car also feels like the engine is rockin when i'm trying to take off in first gear. Also when I shift into gears, it's kinda hard to get into gears and stuff. Is all these problems normal while the tranny is in the break in process or can it be my transfer case? If it was my transfer case, shouldn't I have noticed the whining noise and stuff before the swap? Has anyone else ever encountered this problem?

Make sure to change your fluids after about a thousand miles, especially if you got your transmission cryo treated.

Shifting usually improves after break-in and a fluid change. I cant remember if mine whined or not in first gear. I also have the shep t case too.

What clutch do you have?

I bought the Competition Stage 4 Clutch Kit from www.maperformance.com. How do I do clutch adjustments?
