Thick white smoke from exhaust, not coolant. Need expert opinion. !!PROBLEM SOLVED!!

26k on car, stock turbo, 3"turbo-back, intake, greddy type s, greddy EBC. 20PSI

I was about to get a tune, so I did some tests to make sure it was in good tuning order.

I just got done with a compression test. Results as follows.
CYL 1- 175
CYL 2- 175
CYL 3- 175
CYL 4- 180

EDIT: numbers were 175,175,175,180, not 75,75,75,80. I was cranking in the car and my buddy told me the numbers. (my first compression test, sorry guys)

Did a boost leak test @13psi, all good.

I started it up and it was smoking a little bit (white) from the exhaust. I drove it and boosted a little bit to about 15psi and in the rear view, i saw a MASSIVE cloud of smoke (James Bond/ Spy Hunter stuff), and the A/F went WAY lean, like 30.1. I let off the boost and cruised up the street to a parking lot. I noticed oil all over my rear bumper and dripping out my exhaust, and my Innovate wideband was flashing "E8". I checked the temp gauge and i wasnt overheating and pulled the dipstick and saw no signs of coolant. Also when i boosted there was no loss in power so i don't think its a head gasket. I pulled the intake and checked for oil and shaft play. I found nothing. I even pulled the upper IC pipe and checked the TB for oil; nothing.

I'm stumped! I'm pulling the o2 housing tomorrow to check the hot side. I bought this car a month ago and i'm about to get rid of it. I dumped about $800 in parts already to fix the BS from the previous owner. Anyone have any idea about what this could be? I'm thinking the oil seals on the turbo. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Typically white smoke indicates head gasket. But as you mentioned, oil on the bumper and exhaust could be seals.

check the seals in the turbo
get a leakdown test
keep an eye on the coolant level
those compression numbers seem low to me but did u do it when the car was cold?

The car wasnt running for about an hour. We ate some chow and got some tools from his car. I want to pull the head but i dont have money right now for studs and a gasket unless its the problem. Im going to pull the manifold tomorrow first to see if its coming from the motor or just the turbo.

Your compression is very low may have washed the cylinders and getting blow by stock compression should be around 150 or so just my 2 cents gl

Im going to be so sad if i have to pull the motor on a 26k car to do work. I sold my DSM to get into something at least a little more reliable. I figured since it was close to stock i was in the clear.

Just read your post again; you corrected the compression numbers? Out of interest, what did the plugs look like?

it would be from the boost test, same thing happened to me, drive it for half an hour and it will go away, I think you didn't disconnect the breather hose to the rocker cover and pressurised the head forcing oil through the valve guides. Nothing to worry about really.

Yeah i corrected them. Sorry about that. I just put in some NGK BR8's the day prior. when i pulled them, they were perfect. No oil/coolant/wetness/fouled at all. the cylinder was smoking a little bit, but not a lot. This was in the parking lot about 5 mins after i shut it off.

This happened yesterday. I drove it for a bit and it went away. I was about to hop on the freeway today and it started smoking a lot again. I mean it covered both lanes about 30 feet deep and 15 feet high.

Would that cause the excess of oil to be dripping out of the exhaust? My finger was covered with oil from touching the exhaust tip. Now i think im going to need 3 new o2 sensors on top of it. The wideband worked for a little bit today and was reading between 30 and 50

Yeah mine took a bit of boosting to clear it out. Hmm mine spat a bit of oil but not as much as you're talking about. how long did you have it pressurised for? Make sure your oil level is fine and take it for a bit of a trashing. I think your wideband would be stuffed due to being coated in oil. might start working once it all burns off.

It was pressurized for maybe 10 mins im guessing. i heard a little bit out of the oil catch can but fixed it and spent the rest of the time pouring water/soap around the engine.
