Thats a plastic cap inside passenger fender (inboard of wheel). It is used for access to spin the engine by hand when wheel is off. If it doesn't stay on you can glue it, but it'sa good idea to have it installed because it keeps sand and debris from gettin on the belts.


Before you accept fault, even though you should never cross an intersection without looking both ways (or waiting til you have a view), maybe you should try to present this in court since the X5 is really at fault. All you did was go when light was green hitting another vehicle driven by an unlawful disregaurd to traffic light action.

well maybe your right but i already hade an agreement with him and where i live theres no such thing as insurance and if you want to take some1 to court the court will take money from you to accept so it would be just better to give 500$ and save myself the head ache

 

If the X5 entered the intersection when the light was yellow, then they are not at fault. Most states traffic light laws say you may not enter an intersection when the light is red, and you may enter the intersection when the light turns green AND the intersection is clear.

 

If the light was green it should have enough delay to allow it to be clear even with crosstraffic entering intersection while yellow. The X5 driver must have lied unless lights work that way there.
