Dirty MAF Sensor?
Dirty MAF Sensor?
Searched the forums some and couldn't find a direct answer. Is is a good idea to "clean" your MAF sensor every now and then. If so how do you go about doing it without killing it? I was curious as I have heard of some people doing this.
Thanks.

Go Schucks, Autozone. or auto supplies.. get CRF or CFR MAF and sensor Cleaner in Spray can. about 5-7 buck a spray can.. make sure unplug and take out and spray then let fully Dried then put back together and plug it up...

Thanks people. I would like to know what symptoms are linked to a "dirty" MAF sensor as well. I know what happens when they go bad, but is it necessary to clean them. Preventative maintenance?
