ACD has it's own ECU, but I'm not sure why you'd want to switch to a 11 rom. Alot of people with a 96940011 rom are switching to the EDM 96353006 rom for more room for tephra mods and other patches. I'm looking into this aswell.

 

i want to stick with a normal ecu and to be honest i dont even know the ones ur tlaking about?

 

i personally tried to put a flashed 04 ecu in a in a buddies 03 and i had no luck... i would imagine it may have something to do with the immobilizer in the key..

 

ya if i do get this ecu i would need his imobolizer code so i can put it in for it to work.

 

It should work, however you need the immobilizer code, or you could disable the immobilizer...The only reason for upgrading to the EDM rom is to have room for all of Tephras cool little ECU hacks, if you aren't concerned with this then it will be fine.

 

ya it does not bother me. How would I put in the code. How is it done.
