Question Turbo kit very cheap, what do you think?

I have seen a turbo kit on ebay for Lancers, Eclipses etc. but is very cheap,
what do you think?, maybe the quality is not good and the parts can fail.

i dont recommend it. my bro bought 1 for his 1g and the intercooler was worst than the stock one, also, the turbine melted while being tuned at ams.

I would buy some exhaust parts on ebay but never a turbo. Stick with the known brands for that stuff.

agreed---you will end up changing about everything out anyways.

start with a budget- call a reasonable shop and plan something out- then come here again to make sure you arent getting ripped before you pull the trigger!

A stock Evo turbo costs more than that or even a good intercooler. Do you really think a WHOLE kit for $650 will work/last?

Maybe I'm missing something but why are there pictures of Toyota engine bays instead of Mitsubishi? Just like some have said, you get what you pay for and considering a turbo kit will more than likely be your most expensive upgrade, why cut corners attempting to save money by going the Ebay route? What type of car do you drive?
