I was hoping someone on here could quickly reply and save me a call to Buschur with a probably stupid question hahha!
I'm looking at the pics of what comes with the deluxe fmic and it's unclear to me whether or not I need a race pipe outlet pipe from FP to connect it to my FP Red. In other words, will the piping that comes with the deluxe eliminate the need for a FP outlet pipe?
Thanks!

Buschur's Deluxe FMIC kit comes with the FMIC and the LICP, going all the way back to the turbo outlet. YES it deletes the outlet pipe, but make sure you get the one made for an IX!

The deluxe kit comes with the turbo outlet pipe. Do you have a link to this FP pipe you're referring to though?

As far as I know you would not need anything else other than the BR fmic - I would check with BR when ordering and tell them what car and turbo you are using

Great info guys! I actually just purchased a deluxe locally, and I'm not sure if the outlet pipe is for an 8 or 9. I guess I could probably take a pic of it and send it to Buschur to find out. Or is there any easily distinct differences in the shape that I can look for to tell myself?
When I put an IX turbo on my VIII I already had the outlet pipe. I ended up leaving the IX outlet pipe on and cutting a short section of pipe to fit between the 90' elbow that came with the deluxe kit and the stock outlet pipe. This is not an idea solution, but it worked beautifully and made killer power

Thanks for the idea and pic! I may just roll with what I have and if it turns out to be the pipe for a 8, I'll do something similar to what you did.
Well you don't want to your stock VIII outlet pipe either. It will hit the starter and cause baaaaad problems. An ix outlet pipe from the dealer is not spendy though.
There's more pics around that, I just had a piece and cut it so it fit just right. Have a bead welded or rolled onto the end of it.
