Buddy, you are not helping at all.

I have run HKS RS intake for month. The stock BOV sucks when you consider BOV function is to hold boost. The stock BOV leaks. HKS SSQV is a much better BOV than stock.

Yes, there is problem of stalling when running HKS SSQV.

I running HKS SSQV BOV with recirculate. My car stall too, but not as bad. I might stall once a day or may be not. I can live with it since I know the HKS SSQV BOV will not leak.

THATS ALL U GOTTA DO instead of WORRYING about the PROBLEMS VTA BOV give you. I just got my HKS RS kit last week installed ALL I got to say is the RESULT is AMAZING and problem free.

I dont think there is a SAFC setting for VTA BOV so you might as well forget that and TRY mine suggestion. Or you can do the cheaper way with RMR and Buschr filter.

The point of the BOV is not just to hold BOOST but to also protect SURGE I think. Would you rather to HAVE A LITTLE LEAK or SURGE?

i swear to god, I ask one SIMPLE ****ing question VERY VERY CLEARLY and asked for none of this bull**** and STILL i don't get an answer.

There IS a way to correct it via an SAFC, I'm just unaware of how to do it. This isn't a aftermarket bov vs stock thread. I'm asking a simple ****ing question

thank you china for keeping this thread SOMEWHAT on topic.

Everyone else go troll somewhere else.

Did you try to select low throttle inputs? lean the **** out of the 0-1000 rpm NE point silly. There is no menu for idle.

Well, clearly you are not getting an answer from anyone. So I guess it is not such a simple f*cking question.

Hey SMARTASS! VTA WILL NEVER WORK RIGHT with our Karman air system......... NO MATTER WHAT STUPID LITTLE CHANGE YOU MAKE................. THAT is what people are trying to tell you so go get a ****in clue already. If you want the VTA sound, go buy an cone filter and you will get it.

What is the point of buying such a performance car if you don't give a **** about performance! Grow the fuc* up already and listen!

YES, on the S-AFC....... it is the deceleration feature that dials in a VTA BOV.... but you are LOSING PERFORMANCE anyway you look at it with VTA.... so if don't care about what people are telling you.... then WHY don't you go somewhere else then!

Decit, the only correction i know of is on the hks s-afr, it's called EIDS

Lemme explain a few things:

I run what I run for a reason, not for performance. I got my equiptment at a great price, and I choose to keep it. It's MY decision to put what I want in my car, not yours. My car runs GREAT wit the HKS SSQ VTA, it's just this one little drop that happens SOMETIMES. Maybe if you idiots would sit back and READ like I asked SEVERAL times, you might've caught on to that, but I suppose not.

thanks to the people who AREN'T a bunch of idiots and actually helped.

AWDEVO8: I will try leaning those points out, thanks!

apursell: Yeah, I've heard of EIDS and was considering getting the safr. I already have the SAFC and everyone on this board has been saying "If you have an SAFC you can fix the idle with it" so I figured i'd ASK THE QUESTION. but of course people just can't shut up and R E A D.

Yeah I was fiddling with the tension last night and it didn't seem to help much.. or at all. The BOV is kindoff "loose" on the hose that it's connected to which I'm thinking is giving me a problem. I had no problem for about 2 hours or so of driving other than a dip every once in a while, so i'm thinking it's that. The clamp is on rather tight but the bov spins on the hose, or i'm able to turn it. Also I did not use the supplied vaccum clamp with the BOV cause I couldn't fit it on the hose. Instead, I used a left over "crank clamp" rather than the push one.

This is a good thread to discuss VTA remedies, please keep it on topic, thanks.
