If you never plan to upgrade you're turbo you would be correct.

Waiting on my HKS 272 in/exh and HKS Valve Springs to arrive... Can't wait! Buschur mentioned aftermarket cam gears coming apart on high hp vehicles...thus I didn't buy them!

All you haev to do is advance the timing if you use 272's, its all in the tune to get them to idle, will it be perfect (STOCK) no, but certainly streetable.

i dont know what all the confusion and fuss is about these cams.

i have 272/272 with intake and exhaust and NO cam gears.

the car never stalls! all you have to do is add some fuel at 800 to 900 rpm range and you should not have a problem.

the idle is supposed to be a little choppy but its not bad at all.

hope this helps

If you use the cam gears and change them with one - and one + or on having more advance or retard on on cam you ar changing the CENTERLINE...this will change how a set of cams interact with each other and how much vacuum they will pull. Back on the day any V-8 cam spec always listed the centerline for that reason.

264 intake/272 exhaust works the best and helps keep some stockability idle?
