So the E manage did solve your problems AVATAR!! That makes me happy to hear. I have not had a stall here and was driving around all day! and the Idle never even dropped a little,, but.. it is only 48 deg out today,, wait till it gets hot again,, it will be stallin,, i gota get me an E manage!!!
i dont know what all the confusion and fuss is about these cams.
i have 272/272 with intake and exhaust and NO cam gears.
the car never stalls! all you have to do is add some fuel at 800 to 900 rpm range and you should not have a problem.
the idle is supposed to be a little choppy but its not bad at all.
hope this helps

If you use the cam gears and change them with one - and one + or on having more advance or retard on on cam you ar changing the CENTERLINE...this will change how a set of cams interact with each other and how much vacuum they will pull. Back on the day any V-8 cam spec always listed the centerline for that reason.
would raising your idle help? my wrx idles interesting with the 660cc injectors, when i get my evo, i'll prob go hks 272 cams, im a newbie, but why would cam gears hurt?
