??? I have no clue what the purpose of the one coming of the intake could be doing if the other is VTA. I'd like to know the answer to this as well.

Its probably backwards to keep it closed because they are probably too much of a cheapass to get a new intake, or a plug for it...

i think the one on the intake is put on bckwards just to block the hole on the intake so they put the BOV backwards to b cheap instaed of buying some type of cap
