same thing happened to me but my car didnt shut down til i got back to the pits when i pulled in to park the car just died n i have stock ignition. i think it was cuz of the tune cuz i was running nitrous n my car wasnt tune for it, i also have a lX mr n it had about 15k mile when that happened. what was ur best time n mph that day n with what mods?

 

Hmm, maybe cam or crank sensor coming loose?

 

well, heres the update so far.. talked to HKS on monday, and the lady told me that i need to email their tech support and explain to them what happened, mods on the car etc etc. They will take the unit in and inspect it, if it was faulty, then they will replace it under warranty, if not i have to pay $120 for the process.

about the tune, i really doubt that it has something to do with it, I ran a HPDE before with no problems. car has 11600 Miles on it right now, evo green, cosworth 272 cams, tbe.. etc etc.

As soon as i get the HKS twin fire looked at, and im hoping that it gets replaced.. im going to sell it and get the sparktech Non-CDI unit.

try cleaning your MAF and your air filter.

It's not the tune (ughhhh) and its not the MAF....

 

happened again last weekend in track.. its drivers fault not the car.
its not the HKS unit and its not the tune
