I installed a mbc and had to turn it all the way up and it tops out at 1 bar or 15psi and drops really quickly towards redline and it is not a really steady boost flow?? What could the problem be?? thanks for the help!

 

u sure u installed it to the vacuum lines correctly? check for any boost leaks?

 

is there a specific way to install it? i just hooked it up between the vacuum lines that come from waste gate to the t in the vacuum lines?

 

yea, I just installed one of these, the T should sit between the BOV and Intake manifold, and the other end goes to the wastegate on the turbo. Im hitting 24psi with it cranked all the way out to "stock"

Also, did you upgrade your BOV? The plastic 8 bov is worthless beyond 19psi... I would recommend picking up a IX metal bov somewhere on these forums.

Yeah so the mbc goes one end pointing towards the wastegate and other end pointing to the t right? i bought just a regular mbc off ebay

Would a aftermarket wastegate actuator help do you guys think??
