NGK BPR7ES Spark plugs (Discontinued ?????)

Hey guys, well yesterday i went to my local advance auto parts store to buy some NGK bpr7es spark plugs for my evo 8. Well as i ask one of the workers for help he search the system and luckly had 4 plugs left. So i asked him if they would be getting anymore in soon because my buddy wanted some.

Well in the system there was a D placed next to the stock number meaning these plugs are now Discountined and they will be not receiving any more ???

Has anyone heard of this?

Well since all evo 8 owners use these plugs, what will we use now??

BTw sorry if this is a repost.

I run Brisk spark plugs in my Evo 9. I found out about them from one of my buddies that run Brisk plugs in his Evo 8 and was very pleased. Got online found the site (briskracing.com) inquired about the plugs and this is what they sent me. Ever since I put them in my car throttle response was much better but most importantly I finally got rid of the high RPM miss.

Evo 8:

Stock heat range: Gap @ .024-.026

- BRISK Silver Racing LR14YS is performance upgrade spark plug replacing:

BPR7EIX
BPR7ES

1 step colder (modified applications):

- BRISK Silver Racing LR12YS is performance upgrade spark plug replacing:

BPR8EIX
BPR8ES
IW24
W24EPR-U

1 1/2 step colder:

- BRISK Silver Racing LR12S is performance upgrade spark plug replacing:

BR8EIX
BR8ES

2 step colder:

- BRISK Silver Racing LR10S is a performance upgrade spark plug.

Evo 9:

Stock heat range: Gap @ .024-.026

- BRISK Silver Racing ER14YS is performance upgrade spark plug replacing:

ILFR7H
IKH22

1 step colder:

- BRISK Silver Racing ER12S is performance upgrade spark plug replacing:

I am boosting 23psi in 3rd gear. I just bought set of bpr7es from NAPA last week, stock number is still the same 2023, my guy works there never told me anything about bpr7es being discontinued or change part number.

I ran br7es last week and I had serious missfire issue, fuel are not being burned completely. br7es are shorter than the bpr series and NGK never recommends br series for evo, and I notice poor MPG when I run br7es. when I put bpr7es and br7es side by side, br7es is shorter than bpr7es, I am guessing br7es is shorter therefore it doesn't reach far enough to burn the fuel.

After I switch back to bpr7es, miss fire was completely gone, will never go back to br7es.
I am debating to run bpr8es or not since my evo is not stock and has cams.
