I ran br7es last week and I had serious missfire issue, fuel are not being burned completely. br7es are shorter than the bpr series and NGK never recommends br series for evo, and I notice poor MPG when I run br7es. when I put bpr7es and br7es side by side, br7es is shorter than bpr7es, I am guessing br7es is shorter therefore it doesn't reach far enough to burn the fuel.

After I switch back to bpr7es, miss fire was completely gone, will never go back to br7es.
I am debating to run bpr8es or not since my evo is not stock and has cams.

I agree. I would go with the colder heat range unless your plugs starts to foul out.

I am using the colder heat range (ER12S) on my EVO 9 as Briskracing recommended and I am very pleased with them. They say running too hot of plugs in a modified car may damage the spark plug and/or engine.
I am not sure what heat range Brisk plug my buddy runs in his EVO 8 but I will try to ask him when I get a chance. Now I would kind of like to know myself

yep had the same thing here in NE Ohio..
I went into the Murray's Discount Auto where I usually get my BRP7ES plugs locally and they told me that they are no longer going to carry them because they are discontinued.
In disbelief, I went to NAPA and got the same story.
I did end up finding a vendor online that still has them cheaper shipped than what I found them locally..
Here's the link to the BPR7ES
Click Part Number Search and drop 2023 or BPR7ES in the search

Just picked up 30 for $54.27 shipped and already have them in hand

I'm going to have to go in there and see if they have them by the new 5534 p/n

No need for 1 step colder unless you are going bigger power, 400+.
