I was at AMS the other day and Martin told me that he had talked to Greddy. Greddy said that the ignition harness doesn't work for the EVO 8. They said that sometimes it would just randomly advance the timing and push the head gasket. So I just thought everybody could use the information.

 

I assuming you mean ignition harness for the E-Manage.

 

Yes I'm talking about the E-Manage.

 

Also we think it was one of the reasons of why the motor blew. So I don't understand why it took them so long to get the info out or even why they sold it in the first place .

 

I haven't heard that one before. Greddy supposedly fixed the coil frying problem with the latest software revision, v1.36. Maybe it fixes both?

 

Where do I get this V1.36 of the firmware for the E Manage?
