White smoke when I turn the car on

Since I installed my new 2.3L motor I have been having trouble when I turn the car on. I see a cloud of white / grey smoke when I turn it on. I talked to the guys at Buschur and they asked me which head gasket I was using. I told them a Cosmetics and they said that it is the worst head gasket I could ever use and that it could be the cause of my problem. What do you guys think? Also, compression is at 130 instead of 150 and I doubt it is escaping from the rings. Should I just take off the cyl head and put a new OEM gasket back?

Yes that cometics head gasket is absolute garbage. People have been getting great results with the stock head gasket. White smoke is caused by coolant getting into the combustion chambers. If it were a blue smoke, that's the car burning oil.

Is it 130 on all cylinders? Do you have oil in your coolant or coolant in your oil? Who built your engine?

Slowboy built the Engine and I recieved it fully assembeld ( short block ) the compression is about even in all cyl. I have changed oil several times and I don't see coolant in oil and the same goes for the coolant. But I have to say that the coolant level in the reservoir gets low slowly and I refill it every now and then. Could I be leaking compression/oil through the gasket? The motor looks absolutely clean on the outside at the gasket level.
