Weapon R Engine Torque Damper Question

Ok, so I bought one of those engine torque dampers. I install it today, pretty straight forward. Go for a test drive, and there is a nice whine noise coming from the right side (transfer case side) of the car. Im like...uh oh!....so I come back home, unhook one end of the damper, go for another test drive and its gone.

Any ideas on this? My only idea is that it puts some extra pressure on the engine and holds it in a way that the transfer case or something doesnt really like. I had it adjusted to the point that would have the least amount of forward pressure on the engine. If anyone else has any experience with these things, I would like some input. Thanks alot.

With the damper more of your drive train noise is transmitted into the cabin. There is nothing wrong with your car, nor is the damper causing any problems.
