So I have an Exedy twin clutch that the wedge collar is screwed up on. Does anyone know where I can acquire the parts to fix this or do i need to buy a new pressure plate.

 

What symptoms did you have?

 

?? i bought this used and i need the parts to fix the wedge collar I was wondering if I had to buy a new PP from excedy or if there was another means of procuring this

any wedge collar should work. I just pulled out a toasted ACT but the wedge collar isn't perfect or id just give it to ya. ask an evo shop to snag you one off a toasted clutch....should be a freebie

 

Does that ring all the way to the left get sandwiched between the other 3?

 

the top right ring fits on the back side of the PP and the bottom two fit on the front the ring was on the back with the fingers from the front two sliding into it everything was so mangled I am not totally sure how everything worked

 

I bought mine used also and I dont see that ring all the way to the left on mine

 

the ring is on the back side of the PP

BTW if anyone has a Junk stock clutch laying around they would let go cheap that has a good wedge collar let me know (PM)

Damn I'm in the same situation. I mangled my wedge collar trying to get the TOB out of the pressure plate to get the transmission off the motor.

So no one knows where to get a replacement? Does anyone have a part number for this? My dealer barely had a clue.

 

Adam from MAP performance was trying to get me some information but he must of gotten busy. I can't believe that someone cant get these
