I have a full-race vertical IC (which is sweet). I'm trying to sort out what is needed to connect the hot side to a stock turbo. If anyone has a list with dimensions of pipe and couplers it would be much appreciated.

 

The dimensions are going to be different depending on which intercooler ones running. Your best bet is to have the pipes custom made for your application.

 

your going to have to figure ou the dimension of your IC then put it in place and make a custom set up connecting your IC to the turbo... your not gonna be able to just buy a kit that will fit, i doubt it at least

 

yeah set it up where you would like to install and customize the ic pipes too fit. Draw up what you think would work and check online for the hoses and pipes you think would work.

 

I know it's been done before. One 90 degree 2.5 pipe, one 45 degree 2.5 to 2 coupling to the turbo, and one 2.5 coupling to the i/c is what's been suggested. I know a bunch of these IC's were sold/installed last year. I just wanted to see if anyone might remember.

 

I have been running one for a year now, ill go snap a few pictures.

 

what would the advantage of a vertical ic be than a traditional ic setup that is proven to work?

 

shorter piping, less pressure loss, faster spool...

 

when u say vertical IC do you mean that same rectanglular shape as a regular IC but the inlet/outlets are on the top and bottom?
